Kesl updates: email privacy

This covers the Kesl updates email. The Kesl app has its own privacy policy.

What we keep. Your email address, your name if we have it, whether you're subscribed, how you joined the list, when you joined and unsubscribed, which email we last sent you and when, whether your welcome email went out, the code in your unsubscribe link, and a label for the group you're in, if any.

How it's sent. Through Amazon SES. We don't share or sell the list.

Opens. Each email has a small invisible image that counts opens. We see how many people opened each email, not who opened it. When your mail app loads the image, Amazon receives that request, as with any image online. To opt out, block images in your mail app. We don't track clicks.

Leaving. Every email has an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, we keep a record so we don't email you again. To have your details deleted, email hello@kesl.ai.
